Jim Cobern

Jim Cobern has more than 25 years experience in the automotive industry and various manufacturing sectors. His diverse career brings a vast amount of knowledge in project management, operations and business development.

Jim joined the 2AM Group in March 2011 as an account sales manager. He has a strong background in sales with a proven record of managing large accounts. Currently he is the account manager for Mercedes, along with the responsibility for development of business within the Alabama business unit's territory.

From 2003 thru 2009 Jim worked with Premier / Voith a service provider to the automotive industry. During this time he managed and conducted equipment fleet evaluations and cost analysis for new and existing business at Ford, GM, Chrysler, Bosch, Sikorski and ALCOA. He also managed the equipment fleet at 24 Delphi plants, launched and managed a new service contract with Bosch and developed a standardized costing analytic to be used in the bidding process.

Jim's key skills are building strong customer relationships, business development, project management and team building.

Stephanie Volpe

Stephanie Volpe joined the 2AM Group in August of 2012 as a Sales Account Manager. She brings the company over 20 years of combined experience in Customer Service and Project Management from the Medical and Automotive Industries. Stephanie covers the Midlands and Low Country of South Carolina, Eastern North Carolina and Southeast Georgia.

Stephanie's career began in the Medical Industry working with a global medical technology company called Castle, which is now part of the Getinge Group. She was a member of this team from 1988-2009. Throughout her career with The Getinge Group, her responsibilities included Customer Service and Personnel Management, Project Management, QA, Supply Chain and Equipment Revenue Forecast. As part of the management team, she helped develop and implement cost savings strategies, personnel training, quote to ship order integration processes, freight contract negotiation and coordination of equipment installation for field service representatives.

In 2010, Stephanie entered the automotive market as a Direct Material Buyer for a Tier One prop-shaft manufacturer; IFA-Rotorion. IFA-Rotorion produced approximately 1.4 million shafts per year for US and German OEM's. In this role she was responsible for new project/program management, sourcing activities from domestic and international suppliers with an annual spend of $20 million, supplier development, new program launches for timing/costs and resolution of supplier commercial, quality and delivery issues.

Stephanie is a graduate of Charleston Southern University receiving an AS degree in Business Administration.

Monica D'Alessandro

Monica D'Alessandro started working at 2AM Group, LLC in the Charleston, SC location in March of 2011. She began as the HR/Recruiting Coordinator for the Charleston and Florence area. In this position she recruited associates for all open positions for both locations in various Automotive manufacturing facilities. She conducted new employee orientations and assured employees were following 2AM company policies and procedures.

In May of 2012, she was promoted to the Charleston/Florence Operations Manager. In this role she travels to various 2AM customer locations to ensure all associates are operating to 2AM standards. She manages the day to day functions for responsive services, arranging associates for new jobs, creating work instructions, and making sure customers have the proper paperwork in a timely manner. She ensures all safety policies are followed by associates. She interacts professionally with customers to build and maintain relationships for continued business. She sees new jobs through start to finish, to make sure sorts are done to 2AM and customer standard.

Prior to working at 2AM, Monica worked at Spartan Staffing for 3 1/2 years as a staffing specialist. In this position she screened, recruited and hired candidates for some of the largest companies in the Charleston area. She developed and maintained working relationships with the clients of Spartan Staffing. She also conducted sales calls to discuss future staffing needs, which lead to bringing in new customers for Spartan Staffing and growing sales numbers.

Before moving to South Carolina in 2007, she lived in Pennsylvania and worked at North American Specialty Glass for close to 8 years. At North American Specialty Glass, she was the inside sales and customer service representative for the rail department. She worked with purchasing agents for some of the largest railcar manufactures in the world. In this position she worked with the production team to ensure product was produced and shipped out the door in a timely manner.

Monica is currently working on finishing her Associates Degree in Human Resources Management at Trident Technical College.
